Sweater Weather Skirt Set
This sweater weather skirt set is so comfortable. I recently shared my yellow ponte knit skirt set that I made using Simplicity 8982. I love the pattern so much, I decided to make another one. This time I used a super soft red sweater knit fabric. Since I just wrote a blog about the pattern, I will keep this one short and sweet.
I purchase the sweater knit from fabric universe which I found on eBay. The price is affordable and it comes in a few different colors, so if you are interested be sure to check it out. I made the same views C and E. However this time I decided to lengthen the skirt 3 inches. Another adjustment that I made was to add black mesh as a lining for the skirt. Since the sweater knit is bit sheer, attaching a black mesh lining to the skirt provides privacy to the skirt in the light. Also, the black mesh lining adds a body shaping effect to the skirt.
Overall, I love this sweater weather skirt set. This pattern is so versatile with the different arms and neck variations. I am trying to resist the urge to make this one more time. I am eyeing the dress version with the same sleeves as this top.
