Mental Health Apparel That Help Spread Awareness
Mental health is a topic that deserves respect. So many people suffer in silence because of the many stigmas that are attached to mental illnesses. They label people everything from out of control, weak and inferior, to harmful and outright a danger to society. And we wonder why suicide rates continue to rise.
One popular stigma is mental health is not common. According to the CDC, more than 50% of Americans will be diagnosed with a mental illness at one point in their life. That sounds pretty common to me. Another major stigma is that children and teens do not have mental health. They estimate that approximately 16.5 percent of children ages 6-17 are diagnosed with at least one mental health disorder.

We need a way for people to come forward, and let them know it’s okay to not be okay! I started a mental health apparel awareness collection as a way for people to start those conversations that not only help spread light, but to open the door to that conversation.
Mental Health Apparel
Our mental health clothing collections feature our signature pocket design t-shirt. In addition, we have graphic t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies that all highlights a form of a mental health.
All of our sustainable graphic tees are made from a sustainable sources company. I have researched several vendors that use sustainable practices, such as water reduction, fair wages, safe working environments, organic cotton, or recycled polyester options.
Anxiety Awareness Clothing
As someone who has suffered with anxiety for most of my adult life, I can personally tell you it is day by day. Some days are fine, and other days I am definitely a professional overthinker. Having anxiety is nothing to be ashamed of. There are several methods you can use to cope with this disorder.
Taking ownership is one of the first steps. Journaling has helped me tremendously. I also find that keeping a to do list helps me prioritize my days, which leads to less stress and lessens my anxiety.
Suicide Prevention Awareness
Suicide is an extremely sensitive subject. I am not a medical professional. If you or anyone you know need someone to talk to, please call the national suicide prevention line at 800-273-8255. You can also call or text 988.
Self Care Affirmation Collection
Affirmations should be a part of your self-care routine. When said out loud, not only are they empowering, they also can improve your self-esteem. I find it helpful to speak positivity in my life out loud.
When you start with affirmations, you should say them at a minimum once a day. Build up to more, and watch your self-love improve. Make affirmations apart of your daily self care routine.
Join Our Mission
It is important that we support those who need it. Being a welcoming community of love and support is what the world needs. It is our mission to work with non-profit organizations who work on spreading mental health awareness. As a small brand, we donate a portion of our sales from our mental health clothing to small nonprofits.
If you know of a small mental health organization that you have worked with, please reach out to us. While many of the giant organizations are well known, we are interested in partnering with smaller mental health non profits that could use some support. We love serving those who are in an underprivileged community that may not get the same support as a larger organizations.
